We raised £823.21 for Comic Relief! A BIG thank you to everyone who helped us reach this fantastic total.
On Friday 13th March we took part in Red Nose day along with thousands of other schools across the country.
We dressed in black and white with a hint of red and many of us wore red noses.
We collected small change and had a competition to see which class could make the longest line of coins and who coulds bring in the most money. Mr Davies' class made the longest line of 72m and Mrs White's class brought in the most money - £84. Well done to them!
Children in year 2 and year 6 lead a whole school assembly telling us all about where the money raised would be going and who it would be helping. We learnt a lot about different children in Africa and the difficulties they face in getting an education. It made us realise how lucky we are.
We heard about their stories, saw photographs of them and watch films about their lives.
