Eid celebrations at Parkland

The Muslim festival of  Eid .

We had a enjoyable day today joining in the festivities to celebrate the Muslim festival of Eid. We started the day with an Eid assembly led by children from our Muslim community.

  In the Infants, we listened to stories and made Eid posters and party hats. We were lucky enough to have

a bouncy castle laid on for us by the Muslim mothers.

  In the Juniors, we carried out lots of Eid activities - posters, stories and discussions. We had Eid competitions to design a prayer mat. We finished our day an Eid party and with food and Eid cake provided by the Muslim mothers and the Parents' Association.
